Dr. Alicia Rich
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Alicia Rich became a part of the Middlehope Veterinary Hospital team in 2022. She graduated from Delaware Valley University with her Bachelor in Small Animal Science in 2009. Dr. Rich continued on to Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine for her DVM and graduated in 2013. It was always her dream as a child to be a veterinarian. As she grew older her interest in the sciences and love of animals made it an easy decision to pursue that childhood dream. Providing our feline patients with gentle, high-quality medicine is a priority for Dr. Rich. Her interests in pain management and hospice care led her to become certified in acupuncture which allows her to provide additional relief to her patients. Increasing the quality and quantity of a pet’s life by providing exceptional dental care is another passion that Dr. Rich holds in high regard. When Dr. Rich is away from the practice, she and her husband are still surrounded by pets. Their pack includes three dogs, Pheebie, Samantha, and Ferdinand, and seven cats, Brisket, Klink, Marvin, Cici, Clementine, Mr. Stinky, and Sir William Cheetah Pants. If her pets allow her to stop cuddling, Dr. Rich also enjoys baking and reading. Although, they normally join her for a good book.
