Emergency Care

At Middlehope Veterinary Hospital, we understand that emergencies can occur at any time. While our regular hours are designed to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs, there are times when immediate attention is required outside of these hours. In such cases, we have partnered with the service, Vet Triage, to help determine if your pet needs to be seen immediately and how to proceed:

After-Hours Emergency Care: If your pet experiences an emergency after our regular business hours, please contact AECHV at:

Dr. Richard Solomons, our founder, played a pivotal role in establishing AECHV in 1989. Collaborating with over 30 local veterinarians, the goal was to provide high-quality emergency veterinary medical treatment and critical care during times when regular veterinary hospitals are closed. The clinic is staffed by well-trained veterinarians, technicians, and assistants who work as an extension of our practice, ensuring your pet receives the best emergency and critical care available. In the event of an after-hours emergency, do not hesitate to reach out to AECHV. Your pet’s health and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to providing continuous care whenever it’s needed. For more information about our emergency services, please contact Middlehope Veterinary Hospital at (845) 562-7861 during regular business hours.
