Cassie has always known she was meant to work with animals. From a young age, she felt a deep connection to pets and knew her future would involve caring for them. That dream became a reality when she earned her Associate’s degrees from Dutchess Community College in Liberal Arts and Sciences (2018) and from SUNY Ulster in Animal Sciences (2021), officially joining the field she loves.
As an LVT, Cassie is especially passionate about geriatric care and supporting hospitalized patients. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help animals heal, feel comfortable, and be surrounded by kindness during their most vulnerable moments.
At home, Cassie shares her life with her wonderful husband and a trio of beloved pets. Willa, her sweet Lab mix, is always ready for a cuddle or a walk. Clover, a tuxedo cat with a sassy streak, adds flair to the household—and of course, there’s Pickle, the famously quirky hospital cat who’s managed to steal everyone’s heart.
When she’s not in the hospital, Cassie enjoys reading, spending quality time with her pets, exploring new foods, and going on relaxing vacations—especially if they include long walks on the beach.
Cassie’s gentle nature, love for animals, and dedication to patient care make her an essential part of our veterinary team.
